Below you will find some scholarships you might be eligible for and the application deadlines are typically in the spring.

If you meet the eligibility requirements for any of the scholarships, start gathering documentation and preparing any needed items so you are prepared once application windows open. Then apply for those particular scholarships. Let me know which one(s) you have applied for as they become available.

If you come across any other scholarships, please let me know. It’s always good to explore all possible resources as you complete your college training.

Also, please make sure you have applied or have plans to apply for FAFSA for the 2021-2022 academic year as this is a federal requirement.

As described in the college sponsorship terms and conditions agreement, you are required to apply for scholarships, grants, and complete the FAFSA each year in order to receive financial assistance from the Iowa Department for the Blind.
